I live down the street from lots of breweries, but Stone Company Store in particular. I regularly wait in line for growler fills. I feel your pain :p (December 22, 2014 at 12:20 am)rexbeccarox Wrote:(December 22, 2014 at 12:18 am)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote: I gotta get me some of that. Maybe stop by the Deschutes brewpub after work, it's close by. I love me some Double Bastard and Old Guardian. Stone makes very good beer. I consider them an honorary Northwest brewery. Kidding, the truth is some of my favorite brewers are in California. North Coast and Eel River amongst them.
Well, you need to bring Kitty for a visit, and we'll visit some of the excellent ones you love, and some others you've never heard of before; you will be in love!

We'll have to take you up on it, but I'd be surprised if there's many decent breweries there I'm not at least aware of. :p (December 22, 2014 at 12:36 am)Cthulhu Dreaming Wrote:(December 22, 2014 at 12:27 am)rexbeccarox Wrote: Well, you need to bring Kitty for a visit, and we'll visit some of the excellent ones you love, and some others you've never heard of before; you will be in love! Hahahaha! I LOVE a good challenge!
Currently having Maragritas on the rocks.
Some nice 92 proof Kentucky bourbon that Kitty got me for Xmas.
That woman is something else.
My lady's parents are sleeping in my bed right now. I am on the couch. We just finished a bottle of 2011 Cakebread Pinot Noir from the Alexander Valley region. It was magnificent.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
