My subjective opinion;
A morally good person is one who lives by conscience as much a possible.
"Useful" is a bit vague,so as a broad notion,perhaps: "'A useful person is one of whom it can be said the world is a better place for him/her having been in it." I think that applies to some of my family and to all of my friends.
Season's greetings to all arseholes, dead crunts, the obnoxious, the stupid and the imperfect.I think that covers 100% of humanity,some of us more than once...

Umm, ok, choice of reference...!!!!  Well if I give a straight forward reference, the answer would be simple. A no-brainer type of question.
So, what about in terms of making our World a better place to live? Not only in terms of people, but all of the other animals too!! The 'bigger picture' being the emphasis!
Hmmm, well, this could still be a bit vague, but lets see what it brings!!

 I think you are speaking of the impossible. The things you have mentioned are beyond what constitutes logical problem solving in regards to the topic at hand and human potential.
The actual questions is not in terms of actually what ought to or should, could or supposed to happen, it is a hypothetical question in relation to a potential better world. Note the emphasis on hypothetical!!!
So what is my plan then? hang on, I will tell you. I wish to become very wealthy and powerful and take over the world. Just call me the brain and I will call you pinky. In terms of the bigger picture, I am like you I can do nothing. lol. And wish to do nothing, except become rich.
so 'mister ugly creature man' if you wish to debate to merits of common language, and it's application to hypothetical questions, be my guest.......
