They are taught to be submissive and obedient. They see that other girls and women are killed for dishonoring their family by being disobedient. I am not a major history buff so I must have missed the revolution in the US when the black people stood up and killed off as many whites as they could and therefore saved themselves from oppression. I must have also missed the revolution when women in the US stood up and saved themselves from oppression by killing off all the men. Those who are in the position to do so need to spread awareness and education. It wouldn't be easy and it would probably take decades but it is possible to make change that way.
