I feel like if you just went to a big church and sat in the middle, you'd have hundreds of people around you and it would be much more effective for their goals. I've gone to several HUGE churches, and they it's not like they check or question anyone, have a backpack? Probably just here to take notes.

Do you think maybe it's because deep down they really don't want to hurt others and are just in a lot of pain? Or maybe God works some kind of magic in US churches to keep terrorists out Lol.

wow, we are devolving right in front of ourselves.

Prior to the invention of the (scientifical) lightning rod, churches, as usually the tallest structure in town were preferentially struck by lightning. Atheists/agnostics of those early times took delight in pointing out the town brothel would survive the storms intact, whereas the tallest and grandest steeple in town would suffer repeated strikes.

So, where I'm heading with this is, it is much more interesting in the world when god zaps a church instead of a disgruntled parishioner.

As long as the serial killer is smart about what they do. Some are so far gone they end up leaving such an obvious trail a couple kids playing detective could figure it out....tattooing murder victims name to their body, keeping trophies in their house, or the entire body. There have been some really moronic serial killers.

I believe it was Arthur C Clarke who said “The battle between science and religion was won the day churches began to put up lightning conductors“, or something to that effect.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

What you described is not what a serial killer does.

So basically, serial killers don't kill serially. Makes as much sense as anything else GC ever said.

Serial killers normally use the same methods, they hold to a pattern with little deviation, they are mostly bound to their psychopathic delusions.

Important word there is "normally."

A serial killer is called a serial killer....because they kill....serially.

Fucking amazing that.
