Because I live in a city that gets snowed on frequently enough to despise it. It's all nice and pretty when it's falling, but afterwards you have to shovel it, and there's slush and the snow gets dirty, and they put sand everywhere for ice. What was nice for all but an hour becomes gross, annoying, and wet.

That's why I hate snow.

Adrian, truly a great job on the Snowman.. Unfortunately "Louisiana" received nothing but 18F weather (That's about -8 C for you Wankers and Communists....Tongue)

Freezing rain followed, and made for an interesting drive from work...Smile

Why is Louisiana in quotation marks? Beacause you're in Georgia?

We're Socialists, not Communists.

We had freezing rain here, starting on the 26th. The American midwest get pummelled with snow, and now all of england, but here in the true north we get freezing rain...

The air has been so damp as well, it is -20C today, and that is unpleasent, but it burns on the face and hands with the extra moisture in the air.

Why do we live in this climate? It's an arctic tundra 3 months of the year.
Oh yeah, no termites or killer bees or malaria.

It was a good snowman though.

trust me, i know how hard it is to shovel, i had to do it a few nights ago and it wasnt even snow! it was 2 1/2 inches of solid ice, my back ached for a month Confused

No pippy, I'm in Lousyanna, and was only escalating the point of how low the temps were for it to be "Louisiana"..
