Moon Landing: Fake or Real?

I wonder what part of the moon landing feat it is that they feel would have been insurmountable to the point that Nasa and the government would have had to resort to fakery? The same Saturn rockets went own for hundreds of launches, the basic capsule is only a little bit different than the type used by the Russians until recently. What do they doubt, the radio??

I think it's kinda like trying to debunk the flight at Kittyhawk, NC. To claim it was faked would mean nothing to the observed aviation technology boom that occurred at that time with the same men. The wrights went on to fly many more times, along with their assisting colleges, to deny the first flight merely makes their next flight the "first."

Which Nasa men actually succeeded in the moon landings and decided to keep their "real landing" quiet?

Exactly. In a race to get to the Moon, with massive amounts of prestige on the line, with radars tracking their own probes -- and thus capable of tracking our craft; with the humiliation of its biggest world rival being the fallout from exposing the conspiracy -- all that, and the Soviets decide instead to go along with it?

That doesn't fit any model of Russian or Soviet statecraft I've ever looked at through their history.

Not to mention all the physical evidence of our landings.

Some conspiracy theories may well be true, but this isn't one of them. The richest irony to me is that lunar hoaxers tend to be right-wing nutjobs who regard the government as absolutely incompetent, yet they believe it to be deft enough to pull off a cover-up on this scale. Cognitive dissonance, indeed.

Please tell me how a retroreflector was place on the lunar surface. It's still there, you can still bounce a laser off it.

Oh, and we have photos of equipment left there during Apollo, taken by more recent orbiters.

The shuttle Challenger accident sure as hell wasn't faked, and I haven't heard anyone ever claim it was. But if the moon rockets were fake, how could the space shuttle possibly work ?? It's pretty much the same 60s and 70s technology.

And when the Soviet Union imploded, there in an all but forgotten warehouse, was their moon lander, looking a whole lot like ours. The Soviets also developed a space capable fighter/rocket plane to shoot down our shuttle(s). That program was canceled immediately after the Challenger accident when the Soviet hierarchy saw the American public's reaction. Why would these things happen in "Fake" World ??
