I don't even... How can you swear at someone on the street like that? Doesn't it take hours just to say one word? O.O

Where I'm from, we take our time. But 3,4 seconds should be sufficient. If you just hit your finger with a hammer, that's barely sufficient to channel all the hurt.

Oasch or Oaschloch is more common and used on a daily basis. It translates to ass or asshole and ist most commonly used for encouragement of fellow drivers.

Might be true. Usually it comes with some associated gestures pointing in that direction.
You know, there are actually studies written about swearing habits. They point out that Americans usually swear sexually, hence the universal use of fuck in all kinds of combinations. Most Europeans on the other hand take the anus and structure their swear words around that part of the body. So yes, shit is pretty much standard for all situations and for naming all kinds of items and events. In short, the ass and it's products rule the swear word industry.
