This is me engaging my prophecy mode. I'm willing to bet that the licensing body will never facilitate the kind of high output mechanized (and chemical - yay for defoliants!) operations that would allow the consumer to pay the true cost of the goods. That would bring the price down to something like pennies on the ounce - and the money well would be all dried up.

The above is why I'm against "legalization" as it's currently being done. Either let them have at it like cotton growers, or admit that your price fixing bastards (and I'd rather something be illegal than in a puppet market controlled by the state for more efficient fleecing of the public) - is what I say.

Well, duh.  It's still going to be $40 / eighth or more. The only real advantages are legality and quality control (the state requires testing and honest labeling).

LOL< paranoia? Try this on for size. You know what the hottest thing in law enforcement is right now? Lobbying the FAA for permission to deploy unmanned drones in heretofore unheard of numbers in an effort to enhance law enforcement. That's not a model airplane Jimmy, that's Big Brother, making everyone safe with his eye in the sky.
(I have to add here, btw, that the military - the worlds premiere drone using organization..balked at this proposal...especially in the vicinity of their bases....lol.)
