"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Don't worry, hehe. Being a good girl, to me, usually ends up meaning doing dirty naughty things. Blush
But that's not actually what I was referring to.

Which indicates to me that it is no longer a big deal. People are marrying who they want and the sky is not falling in, the world is still turning about the sun.
Christians and others have grudgingly accepted it...?

I even see Christian sites where they know crack jokes about homosexuality; the kind of jokes I would expect from atheists and not Christians).
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Polaris can you give a specific example? Like jokes that are actually funny, or..?
