If your yec then why don't we do a debate thread of evolution vs creationism. I think it would be good to have a thread where the arguments for both sides are trodded out.

No historical evidence for exodus, flood, Hebrews living in Egypt in any great number, Hebrews as slaves, Hebrews concurring the city of Ai, and much more.

Well, people can believe things for good reasons and bad reasons. At least you admit your reasons are bad.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
