If he knew he made that many spelling mistakes, why didn't he bother to correct them? Even after the fact!

That's just laziness and inconsiderate to the extreme.
We all make the odd mistake, no ones cares.

EXCELLENT point. Logic win!

I personally am disciplined about spelling; I cannot stand misspelling a word. I very rarely use a spell-checker, too. I'm a writer; language is my tool. I take pride in wielding it well.

But I don't hold the misspellings of others against them, so long as they're not crowing about how intelligent they are.

I think of it this way. Sometimes a guy just has to fart, and there's nothing he can do about it. But if a guy will just let 'er rip anywhere, anytime, and expect me to accept it, that's rude.

Everyone makes mistakes. It's the obviously not trying to prevent them that bothers me, because that shows a disrespect for everyone on the forum.

I cross 7s most of the time because I thought it was cool when I first learned of it when I was a teenager. I am now 56 but far from mature.

Cool Shades
I never cross 7s, because then it looks dumb when I tell people how "1337" I am.

Yeah, but Google products take pictures of you while you masturbate. That's a problem for me.

I agree with this 100%. Apart from the Google Chrome bit.

So does Firefox with the added benefit of not starting a new instance of the program with every freakin' tab.

So, basically: Use something other than IE, and you shouldn't have any spelling troubles.

Or post everything on a picture of a cat, then we'd all think you're being deeply intellectual and genre-savvy.
