What primary and fundamental goal you have set in your life ? And why would you like to achieve it ? I normally imagine myself lying on death-bed and thinking if I have achieved something 'worthy' in my life ! But the answers have been in negative usually. Any idea what were the personal goals of great Muslims ?

I've always wanted to save someones life, stop a criminal or both because I love the idea of doing something heroic.
I'm late at starting to learn to drive so that's my next goal which I'm pretty close to passing this will probably change my life and I like change in my life to prevent boredom.
I like to keep fit, I've experienced being lazy and I've seen what sitting around doing drugs seems to do so I wouldn't want to do either of those things as part of my lifestyle.
I remember watching a documentary about an old old man close to death and his answer to if he regretted anything was "I wish I'd had more sex". While laughing, so I'm guessing it was probably a light hearted but true response and I'm guessing a lot of people think the same way.

I'm guessing the goals of great Muslims are to believe in the verses of the quran, not believe in any other gods and reach paradise. The alternative is having your skin roasted and replaced then roasted again repeatedly so I guess the logical route for a Muslim is to go to paradise instead and enjoy the sex slaves and rivers of wine.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

A worthy goal for you would be to leave Islam behind and join humanity in the 21st century.

How about you try that?

My life goal as I have two X chromosomes is to stay far away from your poisonous religion.

I am lucky. I am lucky that my parents met, fell in love, and against all odds conceived me. Think of the odds, in any given act millions of potential genetic combinations are possible, and of fertilized zygotes a minority of those come to term. I am lucky to exist.

I am lucky to be born now, when I am. For the first time ever in history I am allowed to pursue my talents. 100 years ago a woman would never have been allowed in most universities, let alone into engineering. Are things perfect? No, but they're better than they have ever been.

I am lucky to be the beneficiary of thousands of years of human knowledge. I am lucky to be able to use their achievements to aid my own vision. I am lucky to be able to stand on their shoulders and build my own achievements.

What is the purpose of my life? I wish to stand proud, to build and to achieve. To work, to design, to build. And at the end of my life i want to look at the bridges I've built, the roads I've built, the buildings I've put up, and feel the pride to say to myself: "well done."

First off, good luck on finding a purpose in life. I think this is perhaps the hardest task that anyone can have and something that almost everyone struggles with. Personally I don't think that religious pursuits bring fulfillment to people and often times people use it as a substitute to doing actual achievements. Ultimately I believe that the universe is pointless, which shouldn't be viewed as a negative. It means that you can make your life about whatever you want and not worry about whether or not it is pleasing to Allah. If you want to make your life about climbing mountains, or helping people, or intellectually expanding yourself, adding to a field of study, whatever, you can do it. If you make your life about worshiping a God that doesn't exist and not doing a worthwhile activity also, it would be a total waste, but that would be your choice and your prerogative and nobody else's.

Whatever you end up deciding is your purpose in life, pick it and do it as well as you can and good luck.

Having lived an entire natural life span exposed to all the idiocies and deceits, such as Islam, that the foibles, conceit, delusion and malevolence of mankind has to throw at me, and having never succumbed.

'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

You've got it all backwards. There is no individuality in Islam:

"Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah"

So, stop asking what you want, and go read the biography of Mohammed to find out what actions you need to robotically mimic.

Then, after reading his biography, if you have a functioning conscience, you will leave Islam.

My goal in life is to suffer as little as possible.
As I have been saddled by neurochemistry and culture with empathy for fellow sentients, this means y'all should be enjoying yourselves as well because every bliss I know, wreak or imagine gives me a little limbic tweak.

Be excellent to each other.
Party on.
