I didn't watch that clip, Woodrow, but I do agree that there is an area between two sides of any view where comedy is lost in translation. If your view includes something not being offensive, something that the other side does view as offensive, then the inside jokes are also going to seem offensive to the other side and the idea that its a joke will be lost in the mix of other views that are deemed offensive. At which point, it doesn't matter that its a joke. If its based on your moronic view it's still offensive and wrong.

This wasn't a case of comedy being lost in the translation. This was a case of the Raw Story misrepresenting the clip to rile up kool-aid drinkers like Minimalist. The first paragraph of the Raw Story piece is this:

The hosts of Fox & Friends on Sunday expressed outraged that male comic book characters were being “wussified,” and that an effort was being made not to “sexualize” female characters.

Watch the clip and then ask yourself....do you really think the hosts of Fox and Friends were outraged?
