Once one's brain is infested with "spirits", it's not long before the spirit worms eat out whatever critical thinking skills the host may have once possessed. Them worms is so hungry for tender, juicy brains! Oddly, if the spirit worms die off (they are allergic to cognitive dissonance) and the host returns to a non-spirit worm state, the critical thinking skills frequently come back. "Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Interesting sure enough.I already addressed that topic with you before and you couldn't even reply me. You also blamed science for the planet Which is odd since last time I checked people weren’t causing the climate change in the name of science(however I can tell you a lot of things that people do in the name of religion). Yeah because if I said that I am a supporter of science ergo I support every stupid decision that it’s done in the name of science right? It’s like saying to a Christian: You believe in Christianity?... Therefore you must support KKK. (October 2, 2014 at 11:31 am)Rogue Wrote: There are hardly any direct questions Really?
So tell me is it this thread lack direct questions or you just avoiding them? (October 2, 2014 at 11:31 am)Rogue Wrote: 5.You left out the part about the atheist scientist, Price, becoming Christian because of his work. I'm pretty sure his mathematical equation was published. That's how he earned respect in the scientific community, no? If the math is never wrong then altruism does not exist. It's been a while since I read the , Price, story but certain things that makes ya hummmmm, you remember. I remember being very sad at the answer to Price's equation. He did commit suicide.Oh you wanna talk about that ha? Okay. Why would a scientist be depressed because because he didn't prove with math that altruism didn't exist? Since when altruism is a topic of scientific study? And which field of science studies that? Physiscs? Geology? Chemistry? Isn't altruism a topic for psychology? And since when we need to do math to study human behavior? You claim that he used evolution to support the math but since when evolution is an altruistic process? Natural selection remember. That means that only the fittest has a happy ending. And why is that a motive to commit suicide? Seems to me she was a very disturbed man and the whole prove the scientific existence of altruism was his windmill chase. Isn't that belongs to theology? And since there isn't any testable evidence of the existence of spirits how do you do the mathematical equations? And since you know so much about spirits could you at least tell me the purpose of brains biochemical substance in the popular belief that claims that every human emotion is a spiritual evidence? (September 30, 2014 at 9:19 am)Rogue Wrote: It was because of evolution that he proved altruism could not exist.May I ask the article, study or book that claims that it is because evolution that altruism couldn't exist? Nad if it is because evolution that altruism can't exists the how does it exists? Rogue if you are gonna continue posting could you at least not waste our time by writing your own opinions as reality?
You're turning out to be a true dope, Rogue. Wise up.
http://www.livescience.com/19993-humans-...ction.html Quote: The fact that natural selection continues to occur in humans during the advent of agriculture and other major cultural shifts "means that biology and culture must have interacted and shaped each other to an extent underestimated so far," Courtiol told LiveScience. Time to put the fucking bible down and get real. You don't want to end up like Drippy, do you? (October 2, 2014 at 8:21 pm)Minimalist Wrote: You're turning out to be a true dope, Rogue. Wise up.Perhaps it's our fault. I mean we can't just expect that every agnostic and atheist that register in this forum is gonna be a good addition to our community. Don't get me wrong on certain level we agree with you. I mean I don't deny nor claim that she is turning out to be a true dope…… But as a nerd I can assure you that she ruined me my future X-men readings something that not even Anna Paquin did.
Rogue was a woo infested dope from the get go.
Not too far from the if we evolved from monkeys, why cum they's still monkeys? ilk
All I can say is Peace. I am not here to attack atheist. I don't agree with them but I don't hate them. I don't "mean" to disrespect them. This thread was started as a question to Christians. Doubting Christian beliefs.
So why are there so many mad atheist here. Do ya'll have the patent on converting Christians? I don't think so. It is certainly possible I missed some questions in this hi-jacked thread. It's all over the place. I think that's probably why many of mine were not answered as well. No matter because they are mostly irrelevant to the OP. I really don't understand how a human Jesus upsets every one so much. I can understand why a Christian might get mad, even though they are not suppose to, but Atheist why. I am as sincere as I can be? I just care about people. All people, yes even psychopaths. It's a curse. So here is my olive branch.
Belief in a Cruel God makes a Crueler Man. Thomas Paine with minor edit crueler instead of cruel.

I can understand why a Christian might get mad, even though they are not suppose to, but Atheist why. Who is upset by Jesus? The one thing we can all agree on is that he is a major character in that bible book. Perhaps there is a historical person by that name on which the new testament was based. Don't know. But before I can entertain the possibility he was 'god', I really need a stone cold, unambiguous definition of what would count as a 'god' thing. Until that gets settled perhaps you would like to explain the significance of this thread's question. Why does it matter? What significance attaches to thinking that Jesus was or was not a god-thing? |
