Who is upset by Jesus? The one thing we can all agree on is that he is a major character in that bible book. Perhaps there is a historical person by that name on which the new testament was based. Don't know. But before I can entertain the possibility he was 'god', I really need a stone cold, unambiguous definition of what would count as a 'god' thing.
Until that gets settled perhaps you would like to explain the significance of this thread's question. Why does it matter? What significance attaches to thinking that Jesus was or was not a god-thing?

If Jesus was not a god, then the whole foundation is hit with an earthquake they may never recover from.
To me it is the best argument against the religion-Christianity. Let Jesus be a great MAN, no god powers necessary, so people know they can be like him. This thing called Christianity has grotesquely dishonored that man's name with every murder in his name and with every hateful, oppressive action they have taken over the last 2000 years. I feel sorry for Jesus, I really do.
