It was efficient, that's for sure.
![]() Depending on who you're talking to, he was a decent writer or he was a phenomenal writer, but either way, they know who he was.
"The Old Man and the Sea" is probably the best known of his novels. Then there is "A Farewell to Arms," "The Sun Also Rises," and "A Moveable Feast." He wrote many more novels and was a frequent contributor to periodicals, but these works are, in my opinion, the most recognizable by name alone. He was also a journalist for many, many years.
