Well, I'm standing in Michelle's at the moment, from where I was kicked out this afternoon. One minute I'm in my flat fast asleep on vodka, suddenly there's the crashing of my front door getting smashed in and police flashlights in my eyes. Long story short, I had a huge ass chat with the three officers attending and they were very understanding. They phoned Michelle to tell her I'm okay and find out if she could be with me or me go there. Upshot is I'm okay, as in physically. Emotionally I'm still just numb. I want to apologise to everyone for all the drama I caused and thank you all for going to so much trouble for stupid old me.

I'm sorry Stimbo, I wasn't online most of last night so I didn't see all of this... I wish I could've been there for you   You know you've always got a friend in me   and if you ever want to talk I'm just a PM or Skype away   *hugs*

I realize your witty remarks will probably lose their bite if you do get counseling but I for one am willing to make that sacrifice. I have no idea how much it can help because I haven't lost someone that close to me. But I've gotten it for lower stakes reason and got a lot out of it. Hope you do too.

Lucky you. Wish I got into that program instead of psychology. I knew psychology was never the right course for me.

I do want to add my voice to the two above pointing out the role of alcohol in this, Stimmy. I have no business taking anyone's inventory but my own, but I know for myself that I've never made a really good decision while I've been drinking.

If I was religious, I'd read significance into these events.

Stimbo was the one who graciously invited me onto the staff.

I go absent minded for a second and end up putting a bit of petrol in my diesel car.

Is takes ages to get sorted out and I'm drained as fuck afterwards.

Because of this I cancel chess club.

This means I was around when it happened and available to call the police, to try and save my mentor. Since I'm staff, I can see his IP to help identify him. (Not sure how much this helped in the end, but still.)

Please, please get some help Steve. You're too valuable to everyone here for us to lose you. I wouldn't still be alive today without lots and lots of professional help. And you can always pick up the phone to call me, contact me on Skype, PM me, anything you like. I'm always here if there's anything I can do Please don't let it come to that again. I now have a load of mates in the police force who love smashing open doors, and I have your address
