That's just one of the threads I'm referencing, but does it really make a difference if the discussion continues there? If you have the information you need to continue with staff discussion, what does it matter if the thread sparks discussion? I'm genuinely curious, because if you do start a new thread, then what do people do? Start from the beginning? Try to deal with the old thread when quoting what was already said there?
Threads get closed a lot more now than they used to. I find it a minor nuisance. RE: Peanut Gallery Commentary on the Staff Log of Bannings and such like.

I think we need a thorough airing of the dirty laundry so that all can rubber neck. ![]() Don't make us guess what all the bad stuff was about. But seriously I don't care to look at this particular car wreck. RE: Peanut Gallery Commentary on the Staff Log of Bannings and such like.

Seriously, no matter how we run things here there are going to be people who aren't happy about it.
I personally consider that 'working as intended'. Shrug. RE: Peanut Gallery Commentary on the Staff Log of Bannings and such like.

The predictable stupidity and insults to my intelligence on this forum is getting so repetitive it's getting me down. And it's starting to remind me of the way people treat me in RL. I've never felt so misunderstood in my life. This place is as close as I get to a group of friends and it constantly feels like I'm writing in another language. I feel like every post I write has to end with a disclaimer saying DISCLAIMER: You've probably completely misrepresented and misunderstood everything I've said.... so if what I'm saying seems stupid then that's a clue that you haven't understood it because in case you didn't know I'm not fucking stupid but I guess you're going to see me that way anyway. "You" meaning anyone and I feel very alone right now. Yeah. I'm not having a good day. At least I get my results for my autism assessment in two days so I guess I should avoid AF and lay low for the next two days if it's stressing me out. I don't want anything to stress me out too hard for too long before my results. DISCLAIMER: If anything I've said here in this post seems to make no fucking sense you've probably not understood it because I'm not that fucking stupid. Keep us updated on those results, Ham. I hope you can get some answers and, if needed, some appropriate therapy soon.
My nephew is 2 years and 3 months and is on the spectrum. You can tell he is normal intelligence, but his issues are with communication and social interaction. He still doesn't talk, isn't good with eye contact, and doesnt play with the other kids. He has therapy a few times a week and goes to a day care/school for toddlers so he can learn to be more social.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I like how words that I never said, were put in my mouth and that because you feel the need to write a huge wall of text about that, that I'm just supposed to accept it because you have issues communicating effectively. You're a grown adult. Time to act like one and I don't have the desire to walk on eggshells on a public internet forum so that someone living on another continent doesn't get his feelings hurt.
