I know the policy lately has been to delete threads like the Popcorn thread for rules violations such as calling out, however my recollection is that these threads were not deleted in the past, but simply closed. Has there been a change in policy in this are, and if so, why? Personally, I preferred that the threads be left up as that seemed more transparent and in line with what I would call the basic ethos of the forum (free expression, no deletions, etc.).
