Having said that - your claim the christ is the "Truth" is actually a LIE on your part

The christ is a BELIEF - not a truth. You are probably old enough to be able to know the difference between the two words - and there is NOTHING that proves that the christ is more than a MYTHICAL religious figure no more true than zeus. THERE is not a single document or item we have from the supposed time of the christ that even mentions ITS name.

And so - you are simply LYING for your religion as well

I don't go to Halloween because it's not celebrated here, not because I think it is tied to paganism. It seems fun the way Americans do it. To be honest, I don't even know what day Halloween is, it could be today and I wouldn't be aware.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

I understand that a lot of Christians are very anti-Halloween because to them, participating in it means worshipping satan....

I know that some of that happens, but I don't think your average kid in a Superman costume is participating in a satanic holiday. I roll my eyes whenever someone starts going on about how Halloween is worshipping the devil... Because usually anyone who says that is going to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I see Halloween as a symptom of an entertainment focused culture.

The bible contains an overwhelming number of statements... but it also asks questions. It is not in the 'teaching' of the bible that it creates believers: it is in the learning of the individual indoctrinated within an institution or coming to (or away from) faith on their own terms. Smile

There are over 40,000 sects of documented religious thought. Plenty of these come from the Torah, and plenty more from the 'New Testament'. Clearly, the bible does not but one thing teach.
