Calling it 12:25 instead of zero 25 in a 12 hour system is the same right? (Sorry I couldn't make it to half way through the op... too much repetition. Apologies if you already said this). In the same vein as we call 25 minutes past midnight 12:25 we could call it 24:25.

But should it be 12:25 or 24:25 on the preceding day? I think it has to be. So 00:25 today, or 12:25/ 24:25 yesterday.

I don't think 24:25 exists within the current system frodie.

Umm...I don't know. I mean, as of now 12:25AM is equal to 00:25. It can't be 24:25 because a new day has begun.

It can't be 12:25 for the same reason can it?

It's either 12:25 yesterday or 25 minutes past midnight (0:25)

Lol that's a funny thing when I'm talking to people who use the military time. They always get really confused with the 12pm vs 12am thing. Always easier to say noon and midnight.
