I saw a Sunday morning new show who reported only 2% of all Americans polled say they know they will be going to hell is hell is real.

That makes me wonder how many here believe that they will be going to hell if indeed hell is real.

A simple yes or no. I will not be preaching one way or another (unless someone requests it by asking questions or making statements that require a response.) I just want to know what you think.

I'm obviously not going, since the guy from the basement didn't offer me a contract so far. A real pity, come to think of it. I could use riches and power.

And besides, the most interesting people seem to be destined for below anyway. Idolators may have some cool music and the dogs seem to be there too, according to revelations. I loved my dogs very much and I wouldn't want to spend eternity without them anyway. Sounds kind of boring to me.

Speaking for myself, I'd choose Hell. Mark Twain, Voltaire, Col. Ingersoll - jaysus, the company alone would make up for the awful climate.

Hell, for the fence sitters and the spiritually benign would mean death. It would mean that one's fragile mind/consciencenous would be consumed by hell fire, and what made them unique indivisuals would be consumed and burned up, as consciencenous is apart of the gift of creation. Hell is a pit, a void, the emptiness in which creation is not apart. For satan and his inner circle (those who hate God) I have a feeling their hate will sustain them a very very long time. Even though they endure mind paralyzing torment.

Doesn't sound like much of a hell to me, to be honest. There isn't much to fear in 'mind paralyzing torment'... it's just a screeching state of endless terror.

'Mind-shattering torment', on the other hand... that I would be concerned about. Though... perhaps no more concerned than I already am.

Do you believe I would constitute the 'spiritually benign'? I have an awful lot of spirituality, and I would not consider myself either strictly malevolent or benevolent... or is it more to do with believing in or otherwise employing some exactistic phrasing/mechanism ie a spell to resist the story's close or blood of the lamb slathered o'er the doorframe?
