An argument for why God would make himself known.

An argument for why God would make himself known.
Perhaps a reason why God if he exists would make himself known is so we don't entertain the possibility that he is evil.

I think God would make himself known if he has a purpose for people which require that knowledge. However, given that he's God, he hasn't done a very good job of making his existence crystal clear. So at best, I'd argue he's a trickster God, or that he is shamelessly using us for experiments.

I think a non-personal Deist creator-God makes sense. I can even imagine God as a kind of mental universe of which each mind is a part. But a good God who fucks with us and make kids suffer-- not getting my vote for "good."

And you know this how?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Then your biblical god must be Satan - because he is definitely evil. Full stop!

That makes no sense that question, there is no god and that's that.

Since he's a sock puppet, the mods should ban him.

I have no evidence that God or Satan are socks Undecided

God didn't last 11 days here, and Satan never posted. Meh.
