There have been scads of antichrists down to this time, however that position of THE antichrist has now been filled with BHO's arrival on the scene. This last pope (that will ever be) will be the false prophet for him. You see, the Revealing describes a political leader and a religious one. The sequence is the political comes first- then the fake prophet, exactly what has happened. Ultimately (after BHO is fully posessed), he will not be willing to share his glory with the Vatican and the pope and will destroy the vatican.
