Well, maybe I am -- but saying things like "I wouldn't work hard to save us" just made me stop and think why I do have the concerns I do, about the environment, our military actions, and so on.
I wasn't trying to take a potshot at you. I hadn't seen your post #308 when I made my own post.
I agree that even being the last woman on Earth has no bearing on the immoral nature of rape. It is still heinous.

I have a reoccurring issue with bad wording. I think my brain must function oddly and I have a bad habit of assuming people will know what I mean. Anyways, I wasn't meaning to say I wouldn't work hard to save the people who are alive. I just meant I wouldn't work hard to save mankind. I would think if we were dying out, my best shot would be to mate every year with different men. Eventually at childbearing age encourage my children to mate with, say, the closest woman's children...every year. Then maybe in my old age, set off to find some distant people to mate my grandchildren with (so as to avoid or limit the incest O__O). I wouldn't do that. I have three kids, who knows maybe one day I will have 1 more, maybe not, but if mankind was dying out I wouldn't be pumping out babies trying to save the species. That's all I was trying to say.

I totally understand Losty, and I agree. I would always work to save people who are alive, but I would not go to desperate and immoral lengths to ensure the survival of the species. The rest of the planet would be better of without us, in my opinion.
If we are down to just one woman, then we're screwed anyway. There would be huge genetic problems with all the inbreeding that would inevitably follow.
