The Trinity is the doctrine that the Father, Son, and Holy spirit are three separate beings/persons, that share the same Deity of God....kinda like how you, jenny, and parkers are three separate persons, yet you all share the same nature..human nature.

Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades were three persons all with the same (divine) nature. How is that polytheism, yet yours is monotheism?

We can't demonstrate or explain those things, but likewise atheism in and of itself makes no claims about the origins of life. I certainly make no claims to know how everything came to exist, but I certainly don't believe in your version. You cannot demonstrate anything to prove otherwise.

You are basically just saying you don't agree with how God did his business...that is your opinion, but it doesn't defy logic and reason, like naturalism does.

Again, you're telling us what we believe and then trying to shift the burden of proof over to us based on what you're telling us we believe. Faith is blindly believing in something even when there's no evidence to support it.

By the way, HM, you may be interested in reviewing a debate I had with one Chi Pan over the topic of "Are the Gospels Based on a True Story?"

Chi Pan cut an ran from the debate before it was concluded. If you think you can handle the subject any better than he did, I'll happily have that debate the same topic with you if the moderators will allow.

Poor Chi Pan probably didn't realize this wasn't a debate about Jesus Myth vs. Historicity, even though I thought I made that clear. This was a debate about whether or not the Gospels are based on a "true story", meaning Jesus was more than just "some religious leader crucified by the Romans".

To be clear: I'm not a Jesus Myther. I'm a Jesus Mooter. As in "OK, some guy named Yeshua (common name) who was some sort of Messiah wannabe (one of many) who was crucified by Pilate (like many Jewish leaders were)? Fine. Get back to me when we can know anything about him."

I'd like to debate the Resurrection as a whole...the Gospels are just one part within the subject...which is why I tried to build a cumulative case for the Resurrection starting with Part 1, and then just build from there...but Fidel wanted to pull his God card and he kinda messed up that for me...and now you know how my case is build so the element of surprise won't be there, at least, for how I'd like it to be.
