Does Mars have gravity? Are you for real?
I recommend the wikipedia articles on Mars and colonization of mars
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 14, KJV revised edition
Of course it has gravity. I don't know if we'll ever have a Mars colony, or be able to make it habitable. if Mankind ever needs to leaves this planet, it may or may not renew its resources.

Well, yeah, if you don't mind scorching temperatures, unbreathable atmosphere, and pressure equal to a thousand meters under the sea. Other than that, it's just dandy. Oh, yeah - hope you like clouds.
I don't really see humanity sticking around in this solar system in the future. At the rate our technology is progressing, and with the huge number of earth-like habitable candidates on our list, humanity will most likely settle in a world outside our current solar system, and then proceed to infect the rest of the universe till the inter-galactic counsel decides to step in.

If we don't blow ourselves up first, that is. In any case, it would be a reasonable first step to settle in our solar system. If for nothing else then for ressources. |
