Since Heaven and Hell are not temporal ..

RE: Since Heaven and Hell are not temporal ..
The self as ideal form?

I've yet to see anyone approach the ideal in their beingness.

I think change is the only constant, particularly in regard to something like human personality.

The ancient Greek Philosophers were swimming in ignorance. They hadn't even learned how to wipe their ass after a shit, yet you quote them with respect. The only reason they are remembered at all is because from our current education level we see flecks of gold in their brain poop. Likewise in another 1000 years a population of the much more highly educated will poke through our brain shit to look for more flecks of gold. The only reason this progression exists is because of Science, library science and science-science. If we had stood only with religion, then once human discovery began to conflict with belief, the passing on of information would have stopped, halting the progression of man.

We know that mankind is naught but a multicellular animal made of the same type and linage of the cells that make up other animals. We know that evolution is true and that the bible is not.

But I can't understand evolution, so it's false.

It is easy to explain, the similarity to work related stuff goes like this:

Sometimes one of our machines doesn't pump the good stuff like it was expected to,
the data goes up to engineering and performance dust is sprinkled over it and presto-
the machine passed test. (it could be that the customer accepted the difference).

In the case of your happy explanation (that fills textbooks)- we find a proverbial flood of "Time dust" has poured down and, presto chango problem solved.

Only if a deranged "Wooo" worker trying to hide his delusions behind a facade of obfuscation and pretense is a problem for you.
