The One Thing the Atheist Misunderstands

RE: The One Thing the Atheist Misunderstands
OP I just want to ask you one question:

What's the evidence at all that your claims surrounding the bible are not a steaming pile of bullshit that you pulled out of your arse?

"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

Now let the Adults discuss this mmk honey?

But you have no argument other than "things exist therefore god".

This is so far away from being a valid case that it is easy to see why you are being ridiculed.
And instead of giving a coherent answer to questions you just repeat what you have said before, which I shall remind you, had zero content.

So produce some evidence for this god or discuss something else.

We have many active topics you could contribute to throughout this forum. Maybe check one of them out.

ROFL MAN HAHAHA

IT IS A LAUGH RIOT WATCHING YOU GUYS MISS THE POINT!

My EVIDENCE is God's DEFINITION as described by the SOURCE. Did you read it lol?

I can't help it if you guys like so many before you are missing the BIG picture that is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.

Can you imagine how funny it is for you (BEING evidence of God) asking to see some? hahahaha

READ WHAT I WROTE you missed a BUNCH apparently.

And you think you're one of the adults do you?

ROFLOL

i'm 50 does that count?

i would guess no age would matter to you. You will just find another angle to attack my character from rather than address what is actually the definition of God as described in the Bible?

I would then point you to my first post and ask you to READ the QUOTES from the BIBLE that are there this time.

You forgot to capitalize LOL there. It completely obscures the meaning of what you were trying to say.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

My 'argument' as you call it is not 'things exist therefore god' although that statement is hardly false.
My 'argument' is that the BIBLE DEFINES GOD as ALL EXISTENCE!

Please read the QUOTES from the BIBLE in my first post on this thread
ACTUALLY read them this time LOL

and GET IT this time hahahahahahaha

It is GOOD NEWS LOL!

RE: The One Thing the Atheist Misunderstands
But why should anybody trust what's written in the Bible?

Or, in other WORDS, why should ANYBODY believe the SOURCE in the FIRST PLACE?

my evidence is I actually know what Jesus meant when he said, "I and the Father are One", and then they nailed him to a tree for it, as likely you guys would do to me if you had the chance lol

he was just saying hey man we all live INSIDE a LIFE FORM BIGGER THAN US OBVIOUSLY SO WE BETTER RECOGNIZE IT AND RESPECT IT IN CASE IT IS ALIVE YA THINK? then maybe all of us would treat each other with the same respect we would show ourselves?
Instead of being rude maybe>?

I'm trying to decipher your EMPHASIS. When you say "the WORD GOD", do you mean, like, the word "God", or...Word God, as in "..and the word was God", or do you mean the Word God, God of the Word, like, Shakespeare, or Webster, or... Eminem?

In your mind, what or who is doing the anthropomorphizing? The authors? The readers? God? The Word God? The word God? The WORD GOD? Please provide evidence.

There's a balcony, a house, a barn, a yard, some trees, and a black sky out of my window; none of these things answers my specific questions to you and won't be counted as evidence. Do I really have to say this?

RE: The One Thing the Atheist Misunderstands
OK, as Lucanus already said, why should anyone trust the bible?

It's not evidence, it's simply a collection of ancient campfire legends, laws, preexisting myths, that have been copied and edited for centuries. Sometimes for political reasons, sometimes simply because of translation errors, sometimes because the one jotting it down didn't find certain passages appropriate.

The whole god is the universe thing, is also nothing that original. It plays to the most ancient beliefs when people were worshipping the sun and moon and stars and nature surrounding them. It's also part of neopagan beliefs.

Coming here, capitalising every second word and throwing out bible quotes as if there was no tomorrow, isn't exactly a convincing strategy nor is it a new one.
