Why do I find mysticism so appealing?

I find beauty in the wiccan faith. I also find Buddhism and Withcrafy to have a certain allure to them.

Wiccan isn't exactly a faith. There are so many different groups calling themselves wiccan and they're all right. I followed it for some while and it still has some appeal, since the ones I hung out with weren't in any way dogmatic or judgmental. The main source of spirituality is nature and the main taboo is hurting any fellow being. I can live with that.

And did you mean "Witchcraft" with the above. It's basically the same as wiccan, since wiccans understand themselves as witches. White witches to be precise.

Yes, you can still be an atheist, since no god is needed.

... I agree. I can tell the difference from reality and fantasy fine. I just like the spiritual side of things. I know it's a load of crap, but I find beauty in it.

Yes, that's the caveat-- if you spend a lot of time around spiritual practices and people, you may end up under the influence of cult leaders or other bullshit artists. It may even be a gateway drug to Scientology or Christianity.
