If a god existed, it would know what would be necessary to convert me.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

I'm not sure there's anything short of a god appearing before me and doing some physics defying stuff. Prophecies and predictions from the holy books aren't always true, and some that are tend to be vague in the first place.
somene would have to start performing miracles that could be tested, and claim this power came from a god. Though even if a god existed, I wouldn't automatically start worshiping it. Believing and worshiping are different things.

I'm somewhat sad no theists have answered. I am still curious as to what keeps an otherwise sane adult "believing".
