The cambrian explosion

RE: The cambrian explosion
Hmm, OK. Refutations against who? What kind of moron thinks these things disprove evolution?

Why am I even asking that. I've been listening to steve shives reviewing ray comfort's books. I really hope your average theist has more sense than him.

The Muslim "Kind™".
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

RE: The cambrian explosion
Anyone here think the OP actually knows what the cambrian explosion refers to? Probably thinks its the meteor that knocked out the dinosaurs. Don't think I'll play along until I see some evidence that OP actually is playing with a full deck.

Three?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

RE: The cambrian explosion
The typical objection to evolution based on the cambrian explosion is that life appeared suddenly in a way that evolution cannot explain; aside from being an argument from ignorance, it's not true. The cambrian explosion took place over millions of years,- it's only "sudden" on geological or evolutionary time scales- is not the origin of complex life, which predates it, and features transitional fossils within the period of the cambrian explosion. Put simply, every argument that the cambrian explosion disproves evolution is factually incorrect.

The important factor is the emergence of free oxygen in the atmosphere, in the first great pollution event. Oxygen is basically rocket fuel for multicellular life.
