I liked your first thread and I hope you find some comfort on these forums.
But someone will be along shortly to explain that atheism is not a religion and that agnosticism is not a thing but an adjective which can describe either atheism or theism . Aww heck, let's just get it out of the way now. . . If you don't have a belief in god, you are by definition an atheist. If you don't believe, but aren't sure that there isn't a god, then you are an agnostic atheist. If you are sure there isn't a god you are a gnostic atheist. Similarly, if you believe in a god, you are a theist. If you are absolutely certain there is a god, you are a gnostic theist. If you think there is a god, but have doubts it, you are a agnostic theist. Obviously you could be a agnostic or gnostic Christian too.

Once again
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god. If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

What's the Mitten state? Welcome.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful. — Edward Gibbon
