I don't get it... How can these be the acts of a 'christian terrorist' if the acts are not sanctioned by by the religion..

Despite what you artical says these were just 'terrorists.'

Again sport, if the religion does not allow for terrorism then how is it that terrorism can be attributed to the religion?

It's like saying a member of PETA was torturing animals on behalf of the animal rights organization.

So in essence it doesn't matter how many terrorist you may find that happen to have been christian, once they break the governing rules of the religion (like the PETA guy) they cease to be apart of the religion.

All abrahamic religions call for violence even christianity does.
Just because you want to feel special and peaceful your wrong.
Just accept that any religion that has your brand of god in it is violent.
Heck god love violence in the bible i'm pretty sure if he existed he would
be kinda pissed you guys didn't do anymore crusades.

Does Christianity believe in The Devil?

Any religion that divides the universe into the god they serve vs. the devil rather narrows down which faction any outsiders are with, doesn't it?

Does Christianity believe in Hell?

Any religion that believes in a faith-based scheme of salvation from an eternity of torment will inspire acts of torture, murder and terror in its name for what can be more important than saving more souls for all eternity?

Remember, as a non-believer openly criticizing your religion, I'm a greater threat to your children than the most vile of predators. After all, the things I say may plant doubts in your children's minds, thus leading them to Hell and eternal torment, a far worse fate for your children than even being abducted and murdered.

What's a little torture and murder if you're saving more souls by silencing the heathens? And if you murder an unrepentant heathen, are you not just sending them to their final destination a little ahead of schedule?

This is why Islamo-Christianity is especially dangerous among the world religions.

Book chapter and verse sport. If you can't provide scripture then know anything you cite can be dismissed as a non sanctioned, unbiblical or non christian act.

To believe in the devil as what? A anti God? A yang to God's ying? No.

and any post that starts this way can be dismissed as sophomoric and I'll informed.

The devil is a reluctant servant, and does not weird the power you think he does.

Quote:Does Christianity believe in Hell?
yes. But here again in biblical christianity hell is not a motivating as it is out side of salvation.

How is it that you can not see that any religion who's primary rule allows for an open and rule free environment does not inspire hate and terrorism?

How can anyone who fancies himself a 'thinker' has not been able to think his way through to the idea that an open and free religion like this one would maybe attract the wicked and power hungry?

You and your peers best arguements have all been neutered long ago. Rest assured my children as well as any children I teach have little to fear from you.

Again the evil of this world is needed to shape us into who we need to be as servants of Christ. By elimating evil we then become the evil we need eliminate. That is why we are told to take the plank out of our own eye before we worry about our brother's eye.

Do you see how easy it is to neuter a call to violence with a simple verse? Now it's your turn find some christian text to support the destruction of the heathen.. If you can't the know your call to arms is not a christian call.[/quote]

RE: I found... this...
So is this what you mean by "poking holes in the faith of christians?"

I followed your broken logic to its failed conclusion, and look at your response. You called me a moron.

Why? Because you have no other recourse. Your logic, and your resources failed to establish your claim of christian terrorists. And I think you Finally see it Smile

Now because you can not destroy the message, you like ever other weak minded/intelectually dishonest atheist look to attack the messenger. As if by trivializing the messenger , your message somehow gets vindicated.

Like I said before your a perfect example of the average atheist. It's almost like you all were trained to think in a predictable rank and file way.
