Objective greatness and God

Would not the Greatest God, who created everything, have the attribute of non-existence?

What entity is greater than one doing all manner of wondrous things, knowing everything and noticing who does what to whom in someone else's bedroom and yet not exist?

Boru in the case of pizza we know it's made out of food and the way to determine it's good is through scent and tongue, and then we have a preference in our brains. Plus there is a limit to how good a pizza it's going to be as oppose to infinite potential just by the nature of taste.

But in the case of greatness, what is the substance of greatness? In Atheism world, there is no substance, it's just something we measure in our head but why should we measure it when it has no existence apart from the world of ideas.

I think it makes a lot more sense it has an actual form, an existence, that to me is God. God is the source of greatness, the basis of our experience of greatness.

'Greatness' is an opinion. It exists only in people's minds.

I think if you believe in objective greatness, you automatically will believe in God. But Atheists will say greatness is all subjective or that there is no connection between objective greatness and God.

I think if you believe there is objective greatness, you will have to believe all possible greatness has an existence and origin and basis that by which we experience objective greatness. I think relative experience of greatness relies on objective greatness existing as well.

To say one subjective experience of greatness is better or worse then another relies on some objective reality of greatness.

But such arguments are not knock out arguments. But I still believe this a good reason to believe in God.

I think you would poke out your own eyes to avoid seeing the fact that what you want to see is not there.

I have no idea what that even means.

Akin to the stinky-est cheese, the hottest babe, the best guitar player, the funniest comedian, objectively most great and high movie of all time (use IMDB or metascore or ??)?

You don't "think" that, you "faith" it. Thought implies a modicum of effort.

You believe that your lazy faithing is a good reason to believe in god? Well, we already knew you believed in strange things...so, I guess it's par for the course. You're still my boy, believe that - but I'm kind of disappointed on this one.

(whats with the recent trend, btw, of defining god as something else, just about anything other than god...and then attempting to prove that other things exists? Is there some problem, some difficulty with simply proving that god exists? Or simply stating that some thing about god, rather than this other thing..is a good reason to believe in god?)
