The sad thing is, the Arab world was actually one of the leading places in the world for things like mathematics and astronomy. Then Islam came along and all sense of scientific discovery or forward thinking stopped quite abruptly.

This isn't even hard shit to find out.

Actually it went on for quite some time after that. All throughout the Middle Ages, most of the Islamic world was more educated and tolerant than the christian dumbshits in Europe. A famous example would be Al-Andalus in Spain.

Pain Receptors

God tells the people who reject his message that when they are in Hell and their skins are burnt off (so they can’t feel any pain), he will give them new skins so that they continue to feel the pain.The Quran makes it clear that pain is dependent upon on the skin. The discovery of pain receptors in the skin is a fairly recent discovery for Biology.
