They were "she" bears. No freewill for females...duh

Best to call it an allegory that teaches...
not to overreact to slight inconveniences by demanding mass murder. Although that's the opposite of what it's actually trying to say. The bible does that a lot.

It's very lucky that almost everything described in the bible never happened at all.

Indeed! I can't imagine the misery of having to pretend all that garbage makes sense. Life has enough problems already.

Why use 5 minutes of your life to insult something you don't think exists? I'm not judging or anything. I'm just curious

Watching the fundies trying to dismantle the separation of church and State in the US while knowing how accepting and loving religions in power can be scares the piss out of me.

It behooves us all to challenge religion at every turn, theocracies throughout history always turn out very badly for a large portion of the populace. Always.

So . . . Calling an imaginary god a wanker is a boost to your stature and self-pride? Because i don't see anything in it that challenges religion other than it being just a juvenile hobby

Oh, I don't know. If you ever had to hold your tongue while the people with the power in your life berated you with all the reasons why you'd better do X to avoid damnation, you might enjoy giving their god the finger.

I enjoy childish fun. Nothing wrong with it if it doesn't hurt anyone. Just so happens taking a shot at the problems with religion is as easy as pile driving a baby. It's just too tempting.
