America is Ending

It might still be called the USA, but they call that pair of Star Wars demo reels, "Star Trek," and I call bulls___ on that, too.
It's 3am and I am not prepared to carry out any threats of comprehensively leading people to a fully informed conclusion in a single go. I've written two long threads which wandered at this topic already, my first night here. This thread is being begun in curiosity as to what it'll attract.
There's a chance, in the near future, that I'll update this OP with the most concise list I can make, of reputably-sourced links to encapsulate the events of Washington DC in December, 2014, and things ahead. I expect, before I get to that, that you lot will greet me with a mixed bag of voices from the misinformed, the uninformed, the demi- and semi-informed, and hopefully the more-or-less fully informed. I hope anyone who thinks "America is Ending" is crappy clickbait, but who is admittedly underinformed, will engage fully open to at least the possibility that a detailed update of facts leading to a sudden shorts-browning, pants-filling bad time, is in order.
A profoundly incomplete smattering of topics on recent events you might not (want to) know about:
- Cops can now be completely full of crap when they stop you, but the stop has full force of law. Specifically, they can be wrong about what the law is, or what the law means - and therefore, they can pull you over or stop you based on just not liking what they see. If they're wrong about what the law says, means, or pertains to your situation, it doesn't matter anymore. There is no longer any such thing as illegal police action.
- Cops can now kill you because they are afraid for their lives, whether it makes any sense or not.
- Economic protections (laws against certain finance ponzi schemes) instituted to prevent the causes of the Great Recession and mortgage crisis from repeating themselves, have been repealed - banks can once again construct a whole new cycle of predatory activities.
- The CIA and NSA told us a handful of the Orwellian crimes they'd been committing against us and the world, and we yawned it off and ate Christmas dinner, and let them tell us to ignore it.
- All communications of every kind (email, phone, texting, file transfers - everything) are now being stored and analyzed. No warrant or any kind of due process is required any longer, and it is easier to have it and not need it...
- the intelligence budget saw explosive growth comparable to the explosive growth of the military industrial complex during WW2, and includes funds for programs to recruit civilian intelligence contractors who will spy on their fellow citizens starting right out of high school
- and a secret array of treaties being disguised as trade agreements, and therefore subject to presidential Fast Track authority which allows these agreements to be entered into law without Congress's usual levels of involvement, has been partially leaked to the public, and shows that we are planning to make all of the following things illegal according to treaty law: Congressional oversight of the economy; public judicial oversight over conflicts between individuals and businesses; anything which reduces corporate profits (such as increases in minimum wages, regulations or regulatory penalties, etc); and democracy.
All of this was predicted in the 80s when Reaganomics was accepted in a complete abortion of reading comprehension; apparently math is allowed to achieve warp speed by sheer force of bulls___ so long as it is leaving the hands of the 99% and flying towards the wallets of the already-rich. That's some impressive financial gravity - the wealth gap is worse here than almost anywhere else in the world. Every time the public votes with their dollars, big business gets cronyism to punish us, taking those dollars by force via bailouts. I cannot begin to introduce you to how much worse it got last month. It's beyond staggering.
People who are in upside-down mortgages or being crushed by student loans (or both), people whose family members are supposedly mentally ill and are medicated to oblivion, people suffering under rape culture, people who are, or who know, disabled veterans who have been used and discarded, people who are the target of extermination programs which have been in effect since our colonial era; and people who simply know it's not right to sell your entire life away for benefits and pensions you won't get -- all the people who should know very keenly what has happened to the standards for American society, have every opportunity to be distracted into it, to accept it piece by piece, to accept excuses for it year by year. They do their best to enable us to accept these changes, usually by scaring us with shrill nonsense and preemptive mischaracterizations, although it certainly helps to be white and Christian and therefore perpetually the least-affected class.
However, even being a die-hard white supremacist won't help you anymore. The 1% is divesting from America and we are now, right now, starting to be fed the same economic barony the IMF has put on so much of the world. Once the fact that we have been carved up like a holiday roast, overcomes the infusion of liquidity from our new oil supply activities - and it will, because Washington is handing away all our future wealth to our corporate serf masters cum slave owners - the resulting food riots will lead to IMF bailouts like we've seen all over the world. First, bank fraudsters and corporate raiders drain all present wealth, via repeated cycles of lobbying, deregulation, thank-you contributions, and passage of outright corporate legislation - then they drain it in perpetuity, with government bailout loans which are instantly upside-down, and which require "austerity programs" - where public works are confiscated and civil liberties are ended. The population is reduced to paying off a fake debt created in a ponzi scheme by working so hard, for so little money, that the only word for it is slavery.
That's the present struggle for countries like Greece and Iceland, and a long-term struggle for countries like Argentina and Brazil; but now that America needs to be punished for the Occupy movement, the kid gloves are off. America is over, and ending more by the day. The police state was already real - they've just "codified existing practices" once again, because they know nobody's looking, and they know most people who are told what's up, will call it an outright lie without even ten minutes' independent effort.
America is ending, and our population is to blame for allowing, and often demanding, it to happen.
A note on social corruption that always stood out for me: when I was an OKCupid single, I used to constantly get depressed that the vast majority of Americans would rather see interesting things happen, rather than good things. We are about to be cured of that craving the hard way.
Discuss.
