Seems par for the course with religion. I'm just surprised they weren't caged as "offerings" to the pope.

If there wouldn't be religion, there simply would be other ideologies to rally behind. People wouldn't change. They would still seek out some group that makes them feel exclusive by hating on others.

Just saying do not put children in cages its inhuman even if the pope is coming... we all know what dirty little secretes all popes hide.
