Creation/evolution3
RE: Creation/evolution3
I am trying to understand Drich's views so I will summarize them. Drich, you can correct what I get wrong

Eden and the earth were created at the same time. Before the sun's invention, plants lived off of god.

God created or evolved soulless humans who in turn, created cities.

In Eden, everything was peaceful and the first humans with a soul were protected from knowledge of the outside world until they broke god's rule

One of Adam and Eve's son married a creature without a soul.

The creatures/humans without souls all died in the flood.

Where?

The first place is Genesis 2

This is from the first page of the site and it does not say the people were cured. If you got a bad test and it was corrected then you never had the disease so you couldn't have been cured of it. You might be thankful that the test was incorrect but you can't say that you were cured.

The goal of the International HIV Controllers Study is to help scientists understand why some people are able to control HIV infection without the need to take any medications. These findings could assist in the development of vaccines and new therapies.

Again keep reading or Google super controllers.

Please explain the difference between cured and healed, Drich.

I am still curious how you met your wife. Was she addicted when you met her? Did you say that you had cancer? What kind?

What is commonly known as the soul is nothing more than flowery semantics, a metaphor if one wills, for the emotional state and the conscience experienced. The soul is no more real than the heart is the center of emotion and love.

Evidence for your hereditary soul.

Quote:The world at large acknoweledges the soul we even define it
I can define vampire for you, that's not evidence for their existence any more than this definition is evidence for your hereditary soul.

Quote:Yet as it is immaterial their is no physical evidence for it.
Is it your belief that just because something is immaterial it can not be apart of our life?
It's not part of biology, genetics or heredity, then. Fail. You've turned your own story into bullshit with that comment. Now you're going to have to come up with another way to reconcile your book with reality, if you want to claim to have done so. What a waste, don't you think? Your story had entertainment value, if little else.

People resort to Christianity, any religion, because they are downright ignorant and gullible, preferring the comfort of the lie over the harsh reality of the truth that no god exists.

The Hebrew word translated "soul" in the Old Testament is nephesh, which simply means "a breathing creature."

Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words defines nephesh as "the essence of life, the act of breathing, taking breath ...

Lots of things are sold as "what people are looking for." The thing is, most people don't know what they're looking for.

If one can provide a close facsimile of what people are looking for, one can become an overnight billionaire. Cult leaders depend on this truth.

Underlying "what people are looking for" is a cocktail of brain chemicals and electrical impulses. Serotonin, oxytocin, dopamine - these are what people really want. The more complex and satisfying doses of this cocktail appear to be linked to things like community, working or singing or chanting together, a sense of family, security, sufficiency, safety.

These are things which Homo Sapiens is hardwired to desire, because these things mean survival. And so those populations in which our ancestors got a nice cocktail of brain activity when they engaged in these activities, well they had a head start on other populations, because they naturally sought after things that feel good.

That's what you were looking for in church. And you found it, because church provides those activities which cause your brain to hit you up with nice juicy squirts of dopamine and seretonin and oxytocin.

You said that you were diagnosed with AIDS. not HIV

Quote:Long-term nonprogressors (LTNPs), individuals who are infected with HIV, but maintain a CD4 count greater than 500 without antiretroviral therapy with a detectable viral load.[1] Many of these patients have been HIV positive for 30 years without progressing to the point of needing to take medication in order not to develop AIDS.[citation needed] They have been the subject of a great deal of research, since an understanding of their ability to control HIV infection may lead to the development of immune therapies or a therapeutic vaccine.[2]

This is what I found on Wikipedia. Again, the person is not cured/healed from HIV. Their bodies just haven't developed AIDS yet. If you are telling the truth, I hope that you and your wife still use protection.

Not always ignorant. But the ones who love learning tend to either deconvert or become liberal theologians.
