Heh, I don't think there's much danger you'll be indoctrinated. They're not the Body Snatchers. There's nothing magical about it. For most denominations it will be mostly boring and annoying. However, if it's a very charismatic church and people left and right will praise-the-lord themselves into extasy until they almost faint, that can really fuck with your mind as I've experienced myself. But it wears off again.

Not yet. I'll either tell her today, or I'll tell her tomorrow when at church.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!

Well, good luck and let us know how that went...
P.s. your mating system is so strange, why does spending time together have to be so expensive?

I only get $38 a week in Child Support which will be gone by summer because I'll turn 21. Factor in the fact that I need to take one of my mice to the vet which is $55 per mouse, I have to save, factor in another fact that I'm a vegan, so finding vegan friendly restaurants is difficult, and the ones that are vegan friendly are incredibly expensive, also a vegan diet is expensive in its own right. Going to the movies every time gets boring after a while. We're kind of in a rut. I'd get a job but I'm unable to. Social Security claims I'm able to work but only idiots work there because they cannot tell that I'm unable to work. They approved my girlfriend who has the same set of mental disabilities as I do, but they disapprove me because... um... because... uh... I don't know. They didn't give me a good reason. I say "good" reason because they said they cannot approve of me because I'm not physically disabled. They cannot disapprove me because of my lack of physical disabilities, and then approve my girlfriend who ALSO lacks any physical disabilities. The only disabilities me and my girlfriend has are both mental. It's hypocrisy. But then again maybe I am missing something, or there was some discriminatory crap hidden in my disapproval? I don't know.
Sorry for the rant. I got carried away because of how stressful my life has been financially thanks to the economy.

Who takes a pet mouse to the vet? That's like taking a disposable lighter in for repairs.

Me. If you take responsibility for an animal, and the animal is suffering, you take it to the vet. It's not rocket science.
@Ian
That's very little money indeed. Does one of you have place at home such that you could meet and cook something vegan for dinner together?

If you're hoping for anything long term then it's probably the first thing to do. If she turns round and says that she could never date an atheist then your original question becomes somewhat irrelevant.

I don't want to see her less just because I'm an atheist. We rarely get to date because I'm not exactly wealthy. So, the only way I can spend time with my girlfriend, at this time of year is by going to church with her. But I don't want to be re-indoctrinated into the church. Is there something I can do so I can still go with my girlfriend to church, but avoid being re-indoctrinated again? Thanks a bunch.
Man up and tell her what you do not believe, if you can't do that she doesn't need you. Yep, she may dump you, better now than later.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You wouldn't want to be yoked to some god fuckup, either. You might end up like G-C.
