When it comes to things like white privilege, institutionalized racism, and the racism that underlies things like high poverty rates; incarceration rates; death-by-cop rates and so on, yeah - a lot of us have a hard time with those hard truths. other than that, we're just as honest or sneaky as anyone else.

We had that asshole a few weeks back saying that minorities cannot be racist. Was he being dishonest, or simply stupid?
Seriously, Gawdzilla has a point: if you're saying " x race cannot be y quality", you're talking out of your ass. FNM made an overbroad, unnuanced statement.
Now, if by "white 'Murrica" he means only mouth-breathing KKKers, that's another thing. But such nuance wasn't in his post, and it would be better if he simply acknowledged that he was shit-talking, looking for a cheap point to score. Because it's obvious that that's what it was. It certainly didn't add any insight to the conversation.

To be honest, Oklahoma has always been rather wonky...
As a white American, it's ridiculous that the shooter wasn't punished. Thank FSM the chief wasn't killed. And, do you think Americans aren't trying to stop bias? The news is talking about police shootings, etc, constantly. There are idiots no matter what country you're in.
