You could argue theist's interpretation of its scriptures has evolved too, getting stupider and less profound with each generation.

@chatpilot - Just wondering what happened in your life that you made such a drastic U-turn in your beliefs. Pentecostal evangelists are usually so fervent in their belief and worship of God, and to see one that went to the other extreme feels a little bizarre. I know you said you studied the scriptures and decided it was all a myth. But I wonder what else happened in your life, or what letdown you may have had that made you disappointed in God. Just curious.
