Not that I disagree with you about luck... but how do /random# #-<# commands work?

(Example being, /random 1-100. I have rolled 67 (1-100).

True

Religious people are opposed to science on 2 accounts.

1) They believe Time existed before the big bang.
2) They believe something can exist "outside" of the universe.

Any Christian who professes miracles have happened or happens, likewise is against science.

Do we have any more myths besides the three mentioned? I thought there were "many."

1. I don't believe time existed before the big bang
2. Can a transcendental entity 'exist'?

Why would miracles be counter science? If God was auto cloaking as I believe has been observed, how would you know/ prove this?

And isn't white a combination of all colours?? Tongue

White is most definitely a color. I would say that atheism is more like transparency rather than just another color.

Actually neither white nor black are colours, even though we like to treat them as such.

White is the reflection of all colour; it does reflect , but does not refract light. Black absorbs all colour. White is all colours combined, black is no colours.

There are seven and only seven colours seen via the refraction of light: Red,orange, yellow green, blue, indigo and violet. Television traditionally used only three, red green and blue

The transparency analogy doesn't work for me.

Disclaimer; It's over 40 years since I did physics,so I may have misremembered. Perfectly happy to be corrected in any errors of fact.

I know crap about colors, I just know that I owned a white car, and it was most definitely a color. Pretty expensive as well. Wink

I rather like the hair color - bald analogy though.

I know transparency is an attribute of a color, so it doesn't exactly work well. Oh well, no points for me.

It doesn't apply to you fr0d0 Tongue You are not the above bold. Tongue

Ledo was likely specifically referring to those religious people whom are opposed to science... hence religious people who are not opposed to science are exempt from his judgement Smile

Opacity is not an attribute of color. It is an attribute of extinction of the optical wavelength. Color is not dependent of opacity, only your perception of it.

Technically, extinction is a function of distance and scattering.

Odd since white is the cheapest choice to get your car in in all the brochures I got for my car.

The UK is slowly fading into utter darkness and gloom ...you need more Christianity not less! The less influence Christianity has in Britain the more it's going to the dogs....can't you hear the sound of the toilet flushing?
Maybe not because the sound of that other cesspool being flushed on the other side of the channel is probably a distraction!

The further they move away from Christ the more England and France are becoming modern wastelands with only a faint lingering reminder of their former greatness!

The most violent contries in the world happen to be the most religious. Sweden's non-religious population is around 85% and it is a country that has over 200 years of peace, one of the highest level of education and lowest crime rates. I really think we'd all be far better off without religion than with. The less power and influence religion has the better it is for everyone. Religion is only a personal belief and should never be involved with politics, education, health and care, law and order, rights and freedoms. Anyway religion has a nasty history when it comes to power and influence.
All I want is for theists to keep their delusions to themselves. Is that too much to ask?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

How do they work? Well they aren't random if that's what you're asking. The only true random number generators would be ones powered by some type of quantum process, but in regular computers a "random" number is generated out of a pool of input streams, and is entirely predictable if you know the right details about the machine.
