Fucking right!?! I just want to pause for a second and recognize that the greatest fictional archer (Legolas, Robin Hood, take your pick) that has ever been created, and its impossible to overstate, has nothing on an actual human. Feels pretty good.

The arrows in his draw hand act as counterbalance, there's no need for this anymore as compound bows come with a counterweight (and are themselves weighted to the rear) - not the least of which to offset the side mounted quivers which are set to the right, leaving them above the plane of a right handed archer, thus necessitating a left mount (and also the modern pincer mount to hold the arrow against gravity).
This isn't some lost secret......also, he has a shit pull for pussy shooters using a target bow.  (Hand him something in the range of 100lbs+ and see how much of this stuff becomes a joke. -especially his draw....fucking armdraw, jesus....that man couldn't even twist my cams back at 70lbs.) Still......he's pretty good for what he does, lol.
