I've never been a big fan of war relics. I say just rebuild a model of it from stronger materials, it'll probably cost less then trying to fix the original.

It would be a pity to do nothing, but they'll have to weigh in the cost of repairing vs replacing. Even if they rebuild it, the ship won't be the HMS Victory that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar.

Did the staff just not do periodic checks of all the rooms and such?
