My grandmother fears that I'll burn in hell, but she also believed you shouldn't worship her god through fear. You have to honestly accept Jesus with love. That's just not something I can do, given what I currently know.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Why do they have to say anything unless they are asked specifically about the afterlife? And precisely who asked you for your opinion on the matter? "I love fire. Bring it on."
"I'll see you there." "Good. I'd hate to be with you for eternity." So many choices...
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?
I usually offer to save them a seat by the fire.

I don't remember saying anything in response. In her defense, she said it with regret. That's less pleasant than Narnia (I assume, I've never read those books).
