Blasphemy
RE: Blasphemy
I never hear things being blamed on people who don't believe in the tooth fairy.

Those bastards? They sank the Belgrano! And caused Hitler! And while it's not been proven, there's some who think they had something to do with the Star Wars prequels. Panic
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

It's the a-toothfairyests fault! they steal the teeth left under pillows and sell them as aphrodisiacs to the Chinese. And they don't leave money under the pillow because that would be ridiculous.

Now they just farm the teeth by keeping children in cages and removing their teeth when they come of age.

Giving you kudos isn't enough. You made an excellent point. Most theists aren't drinking poison or snuggling up to poisous snakes because they know that doing so will kill them no matter what the bible says

Thank you Smile Certainly a point I'll be making on my blog when I get round to it!

Part of the brain is still working independently and is assessing things rationally, ignoring the tangled mess of religious beliefs that ought to override its judgement.

It must be, or we wouldn't still have any theists!

Who is better equipped to do something about sex trafficking, a random atheist on a forum, or an omnipotent God? You talk of "telling us how things are" as if they cannot be changed by God.

He created us to have compassion for our fellow man, He created us to do these things for each other, we're here for a reason, shame you seem to have no reason other than tell Christians how deluded they are and tell God to fix things. It sounds as if you would rather live a life lived by others and not for yourself, get up and do something it's what you were give life for.

Next you'll be saying atheists were responsible for the dinosaurs going extinct, or the Japanese tsunami disaster.

Oh wait, lol, you probably do believe that as well.

The more you write the more profound you idiocy shows. As for the dinos the flood took care of them, the tsunami was just a happenstance of nature, God was there for those who would seek His comfort and help.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Hmmmm... Condescending pseudo-philosophical platitudes with no actual meaning. Well played...

Most Christians do not snuggle with snakes and drink poison because God give us a brain to know better and understand what the scriptures say. " do not tempt the LORD thy God."

To bad you're blind and can't see, must be awful to be so in the dark about truth.
