I saw it as well. It was sad. No matter the color the girls wanted the white dolls. Somewhere in there mind white was equated with "good" and dolls of any darker shade were "bad".
I am 47, white and in Texas so this is something I have seen my whole life. I thought my worst memory of racism would be the one of being a pre-teen and going through Vidor Texas on our way to church camp and having to hide all the African American people on the floor of the bus in order to keep everyone safe. I went to the only integrated church in my town (I am a PK that doesn't believe) and I remember having to place a jacket over one the best people I knew until we were out of that town. It is a memory that is burned into my brain.
I was wrong. I live in the town where Sandra Bland died in jail. You want to talk about hate? I see hate everywhere now.

I know what you mean. lumping people together because of one aspect of themselves seems wrong, people are generally more complex than the simple labels allow for, says the straight white dude.

Fucking Cops is meant for so-called "law enforcement" whereas Damned Racists is very broad.
