Why would God do this to me when it would help him

OK, I was always kinda on the fence about religion, didn't really think about it much. I think that's normal, you know, you don't think about it much as a kid when question it naturally as an adult.

My dilemma sounds silly but it seriously got me thinking. Before you read this you have to know I REALLY love my TV shows. I don't interact with other people much, live alone and just having my favourite stuff like Oprah on series link (I found out from reruns there were somehow I hadn't seen?). So basically my favourite stories, TV or movies, are my life.

I have a friend called Patrick (yes, a male friend, but we are taking it slow - first base is enough for now!) who I really like. He likes TV shows like me. I wanted him to watch Torchwood, this UK TV show about underground superheroes that are really normal human beings just saving the world from alien encounters. I love it so much and wanted to share the experience of watching with him.

Three times now we've tried to get it to play on his TV but each time it never works. Its always for weird reasons, too, like abnormal things... his building is brand-new but they don't have bluetooth or wifi to transfer files? (They're not that huge. They are .avis btw) So there was no network connection to transfer them across. Then, it turned out ALL THREE of his USB ports had stopped working, so it was pointless using my memory stick to get the Torchwood episodes. Not only that... but one of the ports only stopped working last night....

Then he tried downloading it and it's not working. It's really depressing. It's been at 4% on urtorrent now for like 5 hours. I can tell it's destined that Patrick isn't going to see this show because this messed-up stuff keeps happening and he's not too keen to watch it anyway, it's more like I'm pushing him, because Torchwood means so much to me and he would love the message from the show (that humans love their children). It's not a bad message to send, so why can't we get it to work on his TV?

It sounds like I'm overexaggerating but I feel like if this sort of thing - deliberately sabotaging my life by throwing in needless stumbling blocks - serves no purpose. In fact it's cruel. I think fate is dark.

Dear TORCH
I hope all the incidents you mean are lighter and fixable.
Those are the kind that can be fixed with just praying for strength to forgive
and focus on the positive, so you can solve the problems that come up.
I hope it gets easier, but the point of these things is to teach us that forgiveness
opens the door to solving problems, while fear and unforgiveness/resentment makes them worse and harder on us.

In case of really really horrible tragedies repeating endlessly:
The most inexplicable twists and torments
I have seen people experience were caused by some backfiring
negative energy from occult or witchcraft, curses or REALLY really dark energy.

My whole neighborhood has a history of these curses on relations
due to desecrated gravesites and restless spirits people have "reported."
So our whole community has struggled to keep forgiving when this
erupts, and not get stuck in victim mode where we resent it, but
keep choosing the path to fixing the problems until we solve them all

the energy is negative around certain areas.
and people have suffered disruptive betrayals and tragedies
repeatedly, for no other reason than symptoms of really sick energy
sabotaging perfectly good relations and efforts "out of the blue"

if you have any unforgiven issues or fears, these can attract negative energies

the point of these symptom is NOT to suffer
but to seek healing and cure of the root cause.

I posted that number of a friend of mine who gave permission
to distribute it online to help people recovering from occult, voodoo
or other sorcery cult abuse, and she still gets calls from all
over the world asking for help since she does so for free.

any connection to spiritism, even psychic tarot or sorcery
can cause manipulations of mind and spirit as reported by
so many friends I know that I sent to go get healing prayer
and deliverance to get away from any such influence

yours may not be that serious, but the same healing
prayers work on whatever different levels are needed
to cure the problem. it is not meant to go unfixed
the whole point is to find and fix it.

so that's why it causes such problems, to show something's off balance
and out of harmony somewhere.
